As per the official notification, the eligibility criteria for the post of Gr. General Manager (C&O) / Sr. General Manager (C&O) require candidates to be SAG/SG Officers of the IRTS cadre with a minimum of 17 years of Group “A” service for the Gr. General Manager position and 14 years but less than 17 years of Group “A” service for the Sr. General Manager role. Applicants must also possess practical experience in marketing, commercial, and operational activities. The maximum age limit for the position is 54 years.

Shortlisted candidates will receive a monthly salary under the E-8 (IDA Scale) and E-9 (IDA Scale), offering a pay range of INR 1,20,000–3%-2,80,000 per month.

The selection process involves screening by a Screening Committee, where candidates are evaluated based on professional ability, experience, skills, comprehension, aptitude, and overall suitability using a 100-point assessment system.
