Job Description:
The Guest Service Agent is a front-line position responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests at a hotel. As a male Arabic speaking Guest Service Agent, you will be expected to have a strong command of the Arabic language and a deep understanding of the local culture, which will be valuable in communicating with and serving guests from the Middle East.
Key responsibilities of a Guest Service Agent include:
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel, handling any requests or issues they may have.
- Answering phones, responding to guests’ inquiries, and providing information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
- Maintaining accurate records of guest information, billing, and reservations.
- Handling guests’ complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving any issues to the best of your ability.
- Processing payments, reconciling daily transactions, and preparing reports as needed.
- Ensuring the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assisting with the coordination of hotel services, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and room service.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred, and a background in sales or marketing may be beneficial.
