Building Technologies focuses on environmental and energy solutions, along with security and fire protection systems. The acquisition of SCAME, an Italian company specializing in fire and gas safety, in 2017, strengthened this division’s offerings.

The last major division is Performance Materials and Technologies, which offers process technologies for fuel production, electronics materials, and specialty chemicals. This unit includes subsidiaries such as UOP and Process Solutions, contributing to its broad product range.

Products and Services

The company’s diverse portfolio includes many consumer and industrial products. Its home technologies brand offers thermostats, turbochargers, wireless home alarm systems, and more.

Additionally, the company’s notable aerospace innovations include the RQ-16 T-Hawk, a micro air vehicle used for military purposes, and defense products such as the RUR-5 ASROC submarine missile system.

In scanning and mobility, the business has AIDC products, including barcode scanners and mobile computing devices. After acquiring Intermec in 2013, it further expanded its presence in this sector.
